Tate, Etienne, Prevost (TEP) Center

McDonogh 19 is scheduled to reopen as the Tate Etienne & Prevost Center in Spring 2021. The renovated mixed-use facility will feature education and exhibition space dedicated to the history of New Orleans Public School Desegregation, Civil Rights, and restorative justice.

Our partners, the People’s Institute for Survival & Beyond (PISAB), will relocate its headquarters to the renovated campus and conduct its signature Undoing RacismⓇ workshops. The second and third floors of the historic building will house 25 deeply affordable residential units for seniors 55 and older.

Applications for senior housing are not available yet. For more information contacthousing@tepcenter.org
